I’m Daniel Mendoza González, a Senior UX/UI Designer with over 15 years of experience in user-centered design, branding, and visual identity systems

Design with purpose, strategy, and 20 years of trained instinct.

I’m Daniel Mendoza González — a Senior Design Lead working at the intersection of brand identity, product design, and UX strategy.

Over 20 years, I’ve built the kind of practice that’s hard to categorize neatly: one part graphic designer with a deeply trained eye, one part product thinker who speaks fluent business, and one part systems architect who knows that good design scales or it fails.

I’ve led UX strategy and brand systems for Abbott’s health digital platforms across 15 markets in LATAM and CADR. I’ve owned the performance design channel at Platzi — one of Latin America’s largest ed-tech platforms — where brand consistency and conversion had to coexist. And I’ve built identity systems for mass-market brands in nutrition, education, and consumer goods that still hold up years after launch.

My edge is the combination: the strategic rigor of a product designer and the visual precision of someone who spent two decades obsessing over type, color, and craft before pixels were even part of the conversation.

What I bring to every project:

  • System thinking over isolated solutions.
  • Brand and product decisions informed by real business context.
  • The ability to lead cross-functional teams and align design with strategy— A visual standard that doesn’t negotiate quality for speed — it finds a way to achieve both.

Whether you’re building a product that needs strategic design leadership, or a brand that needs to work as hard as it looks — I’d like to hear about it.
